  • How do I reserve an apartment?

On www.theboutiqueapartments.com you’ll always find a button on the upper right side where you can choose the dates of your travel and book an apartment of your choice. You’ll be able to make your reservation in 4 simple steps. We will charge you 20% of the total cost of your stay on the credit card you have sent us through the booking form. You will pay the remaining 80% of your stay during the check-in.

 

  • How will I receive confirmation of the reservation?

Once you’ve filled in all the required info you will see a confirmation message with your reservation number and we’ll also send you a confirmation email with all the necessary details of the reservation and the exact address of the apartment. If you don’t receive a confirmation email (maybe you introduced a wrong e-mail address?), please contact us as soon as possible.

 

  • How can I cancel my reservation?

To cancel your reservation send us as soon as possible an e-mail to welcome@theboutiqueapartments.com.

 

  • Why do you need my credit card?

Right after receiving your booking request, we will charge you 20% of the total cost of your stay on the credit card. You will pay the remaining 80% of your stay during the check-in.

 

  • Is it safe to pay with my credit card via your webpage? 

Yes, paying with your credit card via our web is absolutely safe. We use an Extended Validation Certificate of Geotrust to ensure that web transactions can be done with utmost confidence. We encrypt and secure your data, when it travels on the Internet. We use a 256 bits key. We use SSL technology to protect your data and your credit card’s, too.

 

  • How can I pay for my stay?

The 20% of your guarantee fee for your reservation has to be paid by credit card (Visa, Master Card or Diners Club). You can pay the remaining 80% when you arrive in cash (if its less than 1.800,- €) or using Visa, MasterCard or Diners Club credit cards. If you prefer to make a bank transfer for your reservation, please contact us at +34  603 868 498 or send an e-mail to welcome@theboutiqueapartments.com. Payment must be made in Euros. (€).

 

  • Are there any extra costs?

The only extra cost is the city tax which the city of Barcelona charges. You will have to pay 2,48 € per person per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. Children under 16 are exempt from this tax.

 

  • Do I have to tell you how many people will stay in the apartment?

Yes, we will ask you during the booking process how many people will be staying at the apartment. Only the number of people you have specified will be able to use it, and this will always be limited by the maximum sleeping capacity of each apartment. Infants who are 3 years old count as children and hence as guests.

 

  • How can I get from Barcelona airport to the apartment?

There are several options:

  • Aerobus to Plaza Cataluña (end of the line) and then there are two options:
    • a) Metro Line 3 (green) to “Diagonal”
    • b) Bus 22, 24, or 28 to the “Gran de Gracia – Jesús” stop
  • Train to Plaza Cataluña and then there are two options
    • a) Metro Line 3 (green) to “Diagonal”
    • b) Bus 22, 24, or 28 to the “Gran de Gracia – Jesús” stop
  • Taxi directly to your apartment:
    • a) You take it yourself from the taxi rank in Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. This will cost you approximately 30-35 €
    • b) You can ask us to arrange for a taxi to come and meet you. Once you’ve collected your luggage you’ll find the taxi driver waiting for you at the exit with a sign with your name on it. To reserve your taxi, we need to know the number of the flight you’ll be arriving on. You can give us this information in the comments section of the booking form or by sending us an email to welcome@theboutiqueapartments.com. This service will cost you between 40 € and 50 €, depending on the driver’s waiting time.
  • What time is the earliest I can access the apartment?

Check-in to the apartment is from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Please, inform us about the approximate hour of your arrival in the comments section of the reservation form or by sending an email to welcome@theboutiqueapartments.com.

If you won’t be able to arrive between 3 and 8 p.m., please contact us and we’ll find a solution.

 

  • Where do I pick-up the apartment keys?

After confirming your booking, you will receive an email confirmation with the exact address of the apartment. We will be waiting for you inside the apartment.

 

  • How late can I leave when I check-out?

The latest time for check-out is 12h. If you would like to check-out later, we’ll do everything we can to help, as long as there is availability. But you’ll always have to consult us beforehand.

 

  • What do I do if I need any help during my stay?

You will have at your disposal an iPad mini connected 24 hours a day and you can also ask at the reception desk.

 

  • Do I pay any special rates for children to stay?

No. The prices of all our apartments make no differentiation between the number of guests staying in them.

By using the comments section on the booking form or by sending an email to welcome@theboutiqueapartments.com, you can also ask us, at no extra charge, for the baby-kit, so your baby doesn’t miss the comforts of home: bath, towels, travel cot, sheets, a baby buggy for city use, and a high chair so your baby can eat by your side at table.

 

  • What happens if I break something?

Please, call us as soon as possible and we will try to fix it or replace it if necessary. During the check-in we ask for a 300,- € guarantee in case you break anything. For more details click here: Booking conditions.

 

  • When do you deblock the deposit?

After you have vacated the apartment we will check that both it and all the items in it are in the same condition as when you received them, with any loss or damage being charged to your account.

If nothing untoward has occurred, we will deblock the guarantee in a maximum of 24 hours.

 

  • What facilities do the apartments have?

Everything will be ready for you on arrival. All our apartments are equipped to include every last detail so that you can enjoy a comfortable, individual and relaxed stay. In the description of your apartment in our web you will find a detailed list of all its equipment.

 

  • Is there daily cleaning of the apartment?

When you arrive you will find your apartment spick and span. While you are in it we will continue cleaning it on a daily basis, apart from at weekends and on public holidays. If you would like us to clean the apartment on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or on public holidays, or for us to change the sheets and/or towels more frequently—these are changed once a week—you will have to pay for this separately. Ask us for prices when you make your booking or when you arrive. If you do not want us to come on a particular day to clean, please advise us in advance.

 

  • Will I need an adapter for the plug sockets?

All our plug sockets are European. We have a plug adapter kit that you can use. Mention it to us during check-in and we will provide this.

 

  • Are pets allowed?

We are very sorry, but pets are not allowed.

 

  • Can I smoke in the apartment?

We are sorry, but smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Please respect this!

 

  • What public transport options will I find near my apartment?

All our Apartments are in walking distance of the following bus stops (6, 7, 15, 16, 17, 22, 24, 28, 33, 34) and the Metro (lines L3, L5: stop “Diagonal”). In the apartment you will have a map of the Barcelona public transport system at your disposal.

 

  • Is there underground parking available?

Directly below the building you’ll find underground parking (not included in the price) of the company SABA.

 

  • Can you recommend restaurants, shops and museums to visit?

Were you to want advice, we’d be only too ready to recommend our favorite spots in Barcelona. You can also consult our blog about the city. You’ll find a link in the iPad mini you’ll have to hand in the apartment.
